Santa's Little Helper

After coming home from our Thanksgiving travels, Taylor couldn't wait to put up the tree. She couldn't get the items out of the storage box fast enough and can't wait for Christmas. Unfortunately, I can't store any presents under the tree or they will be opened, but she is super excited to get presents from Santa this year!

My Little Turkeys

My girls were troopers over the Thanksgiving holiday where we spent a week with my family, then met up with Lee's family for almost a week after that. Driving by myself was stressful, but they were good girls. I must say that all that travel sure made them goofy...

Happy Thanksgiving!

We actually spent Thanksgiving with Lee's family in Star Valley, but here are some fun Thanksgiving crafts the girls got to do during Library story hour and with friends at Julie's house:

Thanks for the hat fun Julie!

Over the River and Through the Woods...

The week before Thanksgiving Taylor didn't have any school so we decided to take off early and go visit my Grandma Ferris for the week. We spent a lot of time at the park since she had school all day. This is the coolest park ever and the girls had a lot of fun!

Our First Stitches

Well, we've had our first official doctors run to get stitches. I was washing Taylor's hair in the tub and Kadie got out to use the potty. When I turned around she was standing on the toilet to get her Elmo potty seat down and when I told her to get down she slipped. She hit her chin on the back of the toilet on the way down and gave it a good gash. I immediately laid her down and put pressure on it with a washcloth. It really didn't bleed that much. Here's Kadie showing off her new blue "whiskers."

She was quite the trooper. She didn't cry when it happened. At the doctor's office they had to strap her to a papoose board to keep her still and she freaked out. She is afraid to lay on her back on high surfaces and she hated every second of it. The second they were done and she got up, she stopped crying and was fine. What a big girl. She is now sporting a set of 5 stitches of the next week. It was a scary experience to handle for the first time, but I'm glad she is ok.

EEK! Monsters!

Taylor was drawing monsters in a notebook that she calls her homework. I think that her drawing has come a long way. The green one is supposed to have on headphones "like daddy has." How cute!
