OcToBeR

I decided I better blog what I have because there will be a lot more to blog later. We have a dance class party on Friday, a church party on Saturday, Taylor has her 2nd grade program on Tuesday, there is a costume parade at school on Wednesday (I signed up to help at BOTH their Halloween parties in school), and we also have Lee's birthday and down town trick-or-treating for our business on Halloween.  CRAZINESS!

Has anyone read the Dr. Suess' book of There's a Wocket in my pocket?   I don't know if he had something in the fridge or not, but we do:
Liz's family was able to come up for a couple of days last week.  Six adults and seven children make for a full house around here:
Jeff was excited that Kim would come sit with him.
It was also super fun to watch Kim and Emmalee interact.
...although it wasn't always a positive experience (notice Kim's face).
Hmm...anything you can do I can do better:
The crowning event of the trip was Liz's donut cake from Daylight Donuts.  She joking said she wanted one and my dad came through and had one made for her.  Who would have thought that it could be?

My Trio of Trouble

I have been slacking yet again and haven't blogged in quite some time.  I guess I will do a little catch-up.

Kim is doing great.  She is almost two and acts like it!  She has recently discovered the joys of coloring, talks endlessly, and is experiencing life at its fullest.   She now attends day care by herself for a few hours a day while I join Lee down at our business.  I was worried about leaving her since I had been working at the day care with her since she was 7 weeks old, but she is a trooper and doing great.  She loves to say bye-bye, see ya, and love you to everyone when I pick her up to go home.
Remember our hired out cleaning lady from an earlier post?  She is back at it again and scrubbing floors and walls whenever she gets the chance:
I couldn't get this picture to rotate but sometimes the cleaning is so tough that you have to lay down to get the job done right...
Kadie is my kindergartener and loving it.  One of her favorite things to do is her homework.  She is breezing through kindergarten (reading at around a second grade level) and is still her comic self.
The tooth fairy is a constant visitor at our house lately.  Taylor is going to need her two front teeth for Christmas as she just recently lost them both within a few days of each other.
These are extra pictures from something I am doing off pinterest, but they are a surprise for someone so I will share the others later.  My mom found matching outfits in all three sizes so I had to take advantage of that:
