Christmas 2013

Christmas was busy, but fun!  It seems like a whirlwind of activity since Kim's birthday is the 21st, followed by Christmas on the 25th, our anniversary on the 27th, New Years, and then my birthday.  Quite a string of events!!!  The best part of decorating for Christmas is that the girls are getting older and are quite happy to do most of it.  It was nice to sit back and supervise!
Everyone still believes in Santa at our house.  It might be the last year that that happens!  Santa was tired this year and made sure to get presents that didn't require any assembly.  He brought the kids a Kindle Fire and Camera to share, and some fun movies and a soundtrack.  They got individual gifts from him as well, but they are grouped in with the rest of their presents.
The girls had a fun time unwrapping.  It gets a little crazy with all three of them going, but we try to take turns and keep everyone happy.
(Kadie got this Sonic doll from her cousins and she would not let it out of her clutches for days!)
As tradition dictates, we took a picture of everyone with their Christmas goodies.  (Ultimately I do this because my older sister, whom I shall not name, had a habit of claiming things that weren't hers as hers, so it is nice to have picture proof of what was or wasn't yours!!!)
Not sure why she doesn't have pants on...
We opened gifts as a family, and then opened more with Grandpa and Grandma too!  They loved have double time unwrapping gifts!
Gotta have some fun with the bows, right?
 Loving their new robes:
My dad is SUPER hard to shop for since he doesn't seem to like or particularly need anything special, so I go for smile factor or amusement over practicality.  He had a sock monkey as a child so lately, we have been running with that.  Got a smile out of him this year!
Kim loved a baby doll she got for Christmas, but she had just as much fun if not more fun with her tool set.
 Merry Christmas!
